Hopefully in the near future I’ll have some information about myself and my studio as well as the fine musicians I’ve been fortunate to work with. Those who have been around know over the last year I’ve been slaving away building out a new room in Brooklyn. I’d like to thank Fran McNulty, Michael Perez-Cisneros and Peter Karl for their support in helping me make this a reality. But most of all, I thank my loving and supportive wife for standing behind me through all of this.
I have a few records that I’m finishing up in the next few weeks, I’ll be posting some sounds as soon as they are done. For any Techies, my studio partner, Mike, got me into the modification and building of my own gear, here’s a recent mod I did to a microphone. I swapped out the capsule in my Peluso 2247le with a Beezneez K7 capsule. As far as gear mods go, this is pretty much a mod with training wheels, but it was a lot of fun and well worth it in the end result.
